Vertical Records commissioned The Gate Worldwide to design the digipak and promotional t-shirt for the forthcoming album by James Grant.

James’ poetic lyrics are rich with symbolism so it was only natural that our inspiration for the design came from the music itself.

Strange Flowers will be released next month and is the fourth solo album by the former Love & Money frontman.

Kirsten Murray is an Art Director at The Gate in Edinburgh. She has an Honours degree in Corporate Communication and an HND in Graphic and Digital Design. Prior to joining The Gate, she worked as a Marketing Officer for The Robert Gordon University.
