Background:
I come from Edinburgh and have lived here for most of my life, the exceptions being 3 summers out from university which were spent working on the Greek islands. I’ve always been interested in books and typography and they’ve played a big part in my getting to where I am today… I’ve edited one (I was my school yearbook editor), designed and published them (during my time at Discover Press and The Gate) and have had my design work featured in them (YCN 06/07 book). One of my dream design projects would be to design and art direct the photography for a Nigella Lawson cookbook.
Interests:
Graphic design, typography, beautiful book design, travel (only European and North American so far but I plan to explore Africa and South America one day) and travel guidebooks which I hoard, Eggpress stationery and cards, modern dance, house music, cooking and making lists.
Super-power:
I suppose I would be a blaster (a hero whose main power is a distance attack, usually an energy blast) as I’m pretty clumsy and have the tendency to knock things over just by looking at them.
